Note: In Austria most motorways (not the general highways) are toll roads, requiring the so-called "vignette". However, the journey from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands to Kufstein is toll free! Also: from 1 November on, winter tyres are mandatory in Austria.

Travel from Germany
Coming from Munich / Rosenheim, leave the Inntal motorway (A12) at the exit "Kufstein Süd" (toll free). Follow the Highway (“Bundesstrasse”) 178, past Scheffau and Ellmau; continue in the direction of the Wilder Kaiser. Past Ellmau, immediately turn left into Innsbruckerstraße and that tales you right into the hotel car park of Blattlhof.

Travel from Switzerland
Follow the Inntal motorway A12 in the direction of Munich/Salzburg past Innsbruck and exit at "Wörgl Ost". Continue on Highway 178 towards St. Johann and Going am Wilden Kaiser. You will pass the villages Söll and Ellmau. Immediately past Ellmau, please turn left into Innsbruckerstrasse – and you will see the Blattlhof.

Travel from Italy
Coming across the Brenner, stay on the Brenner Motorway A13 to Innsbruck. Then change onto the A12, the Inntal Autobahn toward Munich / Salzburg. Please leave the motorway at the exit "Wörgl Ost". Continue on Highway 178 towards St. Johann and Going am Wilden Kaiser. You will pass the villages Söll and Ellmau. Immediately past Ellmau, please turn left into Innsbruckerstrasse: You have arrived! Welcome to The Blattlhof.

Travel from Eastern Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic
Follow the “Westautobahn” motorway (A1) towards Salzburg. Right after Salzburg keep going towards Munich until you are in Germany. Here follow the transit route to the town of Lofer - B21 and B178 through Bad Reichenhall, Lofer, Waidring, St. Johann in Tyrol towards Wörgl. This takes you to the village of Going am Wilden Kaiser. At the end of Going as you are going towards Ellmau, please turn right into  Innsbruckerstraße and you've arrived.
